Why did you choose to go on study exchange?
To experience education in a different country and to meet new people.
What is the reason you chose for this country/university?
The university teaches in problem based learning and has a lot of group work, this was for me a reason to go to this university.
3. Accessibility to reach destination
Do you have any tips to reach your exchange destination?
The easiest way is to go there by flight, there are direct flights from Amsterdam to Aalborg.
4. University and studying
Could you provide some general information about the followed courses?

How is the study formalized?
The examinations of international marketing and entrepreneurship and innovation were both a 24 hour written exam. Strategy and marketing was an oral exam on the written project. The workload and level is a little bit lower than in Wageningen.
What is the culture of the university?
There is almost no distance between teachers and students, the teachers are very approachable.
What does the university offer the student additionally?
There is a restaurant at the campus and a gym.
5.Housing-travelling-living
What are the possibilities for housing?
You can sign up for a room in the international accommodation office and you will get a room from the university.
What is the culture of the country like?
The culture is very similar to the Dutch culture.
Could you give a general price indication of the place of residence compared to living in Wageningen?
I paid about 100 euro more per month and if you have residence through the international accommodation office, you have to pay a deposit of 2 months rent.
Could you give some information about public transport infrastructure?
The easiest way of transportation is by bike. There are also a lot of busses that go from the city centre to the university, which you can take. It’s about €1,50 for a single bus ticket if you have the travelcard. You can get the travelcard at the Kennedy centre next to the bus station.

What are the must-see areas?
- Waterfront
- Beach
- Fjordparken (in summer)
- It is easy to visit Gothenburg if you take the ferry from Frederikshavn.
